As a public school teacher in Columbus City Schools and the parent of two children with special needs, I care deeply about the future of our district. A well-supported, strong public school system is one of the greatest strengths a community can have.

 

This isn’t about politics or personal agendas — it’s about students and classrooms. When students know they matter, great outcomes follow. When communities feel heard, collaboration grows. It starts with a school board that sets the tone and leads by example.

 

Our district faces enormous challenges in both the near and distant future. We need leaders who are highly invested, knowledgeable, and engaged in the needs of our community. This is a role that demands communication and dedication.
